Today's client is geared not only towards the functional characteristics of design, but the aesthetic aspect as well. The kitchen and bath business is now a fashion industry. It is important for designers to pull inspiration from all aspects of life. This presentation is geared towards the trend-setting, fashion-forward designer. Someone who is looking to heighten their creativity, execution techniques, material selection and product knowledge in today's market. Designers are encouraged to approach each project with a holistic method of thinking, and eliminating the clich�, everyday choices. They must implement and successfully attain the "wow" factor. After attending this session, participants will be able to effectively communicate how to enhance their client's lifestyle, achieving the best of both worlds – creative design elements that improve the overall visual and purpose of their RICHARD T. ANUSZKIEWICZ space.

About the Speaker:

Richard Anuszkiewicz, Richar Living

As the creative director of the Richar Living lifestyle brand, a passion for design and an appreciation of style are two driving forces behind the accomplishments of Pittsburgh native, Richard T. Anuszkiewicz.

A graduate of Virginia Tech's NKBA-accredited Residential Design program, Richard has received numerous accolades that illustrate his distinctive creativity and jovial personality. Since being an inaugural NKBA 30 Under 30 professional in 2013, Richard has launched the renowned #FASHIONFORWARD Tour with presentations at premier industry events including KBIS Las Vegas, and Dwell on Design Los Angeles. In 2016, Richard was part of the DXV by American Standard Design Panel commissioned to design a kitchen for their national advertising campaign.

Richard has been highlighted in numerous high-profile publications, such as Vanity Fair, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, The Washington Post, The Editor At Large, and HGTV. Most recently, he was abroad at Salone del Mobile in Milan 2016 and The London Design Festival 2015 as part of Modenus #designhounds.
