Adventures in Veterinary Medicine
We love veterinary medicine and animal healthcare careers and want to share our knowledge with young people that are as passionate about animals as we are. Campers will learn about animal health and have lots of hands on experience.
Between Indian Trail Animal Hospital and Vet-REC: Veterinary Rehabilitation and Exercise Clinic, we have 4 veterinarians and a wonderful support staff with a wealth of knowledge to share. Our camp director has been working in the veterinary field for 5 years and is pursuing a degree in education. Camp kids love her!! Each day will include hands-on activities building up to observation of the 'backstage' tour of the working hospital including appointments on Monday.
We apologize that the timing of the camps may be difficult for some attendees. This schedule helps us minimize the disruption in therapy sessions for animals under the care of our rehabilitation staff. If the 3 day session won't work for your child, please consider a Day Camp. Thank you for your understanding.
