Teaming, Joint Venturing, and Subcontracting while Complying with SBA Small Business Programs and Regulations: Includes the NEW 2016 Limitation on Subcontracting Changes

During this session, participants will receive detailed instruction on the SBA regulatory requirements for creating Teaming Agreements, Joint Ventures, and Subcontracts.

Participants will also learn about the important differences between Teaming and Joint Venturing arrangements, and they will learn the benefits and risks of each approach.

During this session, we will review SBA Size and Affiliation issues that frequently come into play with these agreements, and we take a "deep dive" into the 2016 changes to the all-important  Limitation on Subcontracting regs (13 C.F.R. 125.6). Throughout this training, we will discuss Teaming and Joint Venturing in order to obtain set-aside contracts for small businesses, 8(a)’s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Woman-Owned and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs and EDWOSBs), and HUBZone businesses.

Participate in this workshop on Wednesday, March 8, at the Tower Club, Vienna VA, to learn the details of the many new SBA program regulations regarding teaming, subcontracting and joint ventures

Brad Reaves, Government Contracts Attorney and expert in the SBA’s Programs and Regulations, will explain – in plain language – how to stay compliant with the NEW - and old - Small Business Administration programs and regs.
