Musical Theater Camp 2017 for Rising 3rd-5th Grades 

It's time for a little sing-a-long.  Ready, go!  "Popular, it's gonna be Pop-u-lar.  We'll show you the song to choose, you'll know all the cues, with a monologue prepared!  So come on!  Audition nightmares you will be spared."  Come experience the fun of Musical Theater as we sing, recite, and perform together.    

Students will be taught healthy vocal technique, basic stage movement, and stage craft. Each student will receive a camp t-shirt and will end the week having an age appropriate solo, ready for an audition, along with a monologue. We will end the week with a performance of the week’s work which will include solos and ensemble pieces.

Camp will be June 26-June 30th.  Camp hours will be 8:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday.  We will have a performance at 12:00 p.m, for families of the participants on Friday.  Campers should bring a snack each day. Bottled water will be provided.   

Camp is for rising 3rd-5th grades and will be led by Mittie Douglass and Laura Holley. Registration fee is $125 and is limited to 16 participants.
