Chapter 179 is pleased to present, Mr. Dave Jackson, Lead Critical Infrastructure Protection Planner, Texas Department of Public Safety Intelligence & Counterterrorism Division, as our guest speaker during the March chapter meeting:  

Join us for a comprehensive overview of how the Texas Department of Public Safety Critical Infrastructure Program facilitates the exchange of timely and actionable intelligence to private sector partners and government agencies, develops strategies for infrastructure protection and resilience, and supports the State Emergency Operations Center as the focal point to coordinate critical infrastructure damage assessment and restoration activities and to coordinate response and recovery activities with private industry.

Dave Jackson is the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program Manager for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).  He works out of the Homeland Security Unit of the Texas Joint Crime Information Center in Austin.  He is responsible for the coordination of critical infrastructure protection and resiliency efforts with private sector critical infrastructure owners/operators, and numerous federal, state, and local government agencies.
