All clergy and laity are invited to participate in renewing their baptismal vows, and, in the case of clergy, in renewing their ordination vows and receiving holy oils for use in the parish.

One container of each oil will be provided to each parish and should be collected by a clergy person  before leaving the Cathedral.

Clergy will vest (cassock and surplice or cassock alb).  Please be vested by 11:30 am.

After the luncheon, you are invited to a talk by The Reverend Ed Bacon, an Episcopal priest and a national voice in the United States voice issues of faith and justice for all, regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.  His energies focus on leadership in anxious times; living a love-based life as opposed to a fear-based life; peacemaking; interfaith relations; contemplative practices and their impact on relationships, creativity, and brain functioning; and, articulating the Christian faith in non-bigoted, science-friendly, and inclusive ways.  His talk is titled "The Ministry (or Vocation) of Oneness in Tribalistic (or Polarized) Times".
