Veterans can make great business owners. They are disciplined, trained to get results, and know how to work in constantly changing situations.

This workshop lays out what is involved in starting and running your owns business. It examines the different ways to get into business - starting from scratch, buying one, getting a franchise, running a home based operation, etc.

Characteristics of entrepreneurs are discussed as well as what day to day commitments are needed to be successful.

Veterans have access to resources that can helpful in starting and growing a business. We will cover the support avaliable from the VA and the Department of Veteran Affairs as well as other support organizations.
