Talk Summary: Lynne Wester's first book, The Four Pillars of Donor Relations, addressed the fundmentals of building a best-in-class donor relations shop.  In this program, Lynne focuses specifically on the four pillars of donor communications:  Gratitude, Impact, Persuasion, and Information.  How do you write communications that donors want to read?  Who is your audience and what are you trying to convey?  Don't try to be all things to all people, but target your message to ensure it resonates with your intended demographic.

   Presenter Bio:  Lynne Wester, widely known for her Donor  Relations Guru(DRG) blog and website, has quickly become the leading resource for creating donor-focused fund raising strategies.  Lynne has been featured in The Washington Post, CURRENTS magazine, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and other industry publications. The DRG website and blog receive more than 100,000 visits a week and Lynne’s monthly webinars regularly draw hundreds of viewers.  A loyal University of South Carolina gamecock alumna, donor, and fan, Lynne also holds a master's in strategic fundraising and philanthropy and is the author of two books on fundraising, The Four Pillars of Donor Relations and TRexes vs Kangaroos and Other Stories: Improving Your Fundraising and Donor Relations.

Heading West from Greensboro:   Take I-40 W to Kernersville.  Exit on North Carolina 66N from I-40 Bus/US 421.  Continue on NC 66/NC 150E until you get to North Main Street.  Continue on Main Street and your destination will be on the left.     

Heading East from Winston Salem:  Take I-40Bus E/US 421 S to Kernersville, Take Exit 14 from I-40Bus E/US 421 S.  Turn left on South Main Street (signs for Downtown).  Destination will be on your right.
