The Battle to Achieve Gender Diversity in the C-Suite

Speaker: Sandy Wysocki, UPAF Chief Development Officer and Board Chair of Milwaukee Women inc

Learn about the issue of gender diversity in the C-suite, including current local and national statistics of women on Boards and in the C-Suite, and the economic advantages of gender diversity.  Find out about one company's approach to Conscious Inclusion, and the role of Milwaukee Women inc and other similar groups.

About our speaker:

Sandy Wysocki is the Chief Development Officer for the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF).   Newly appointed in May, 2016, Sandy will drive all fundraising activities for the UPAF Campaign, working with the CEO, Campaign Co-Chairs and Board of Directors.  She will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the UPAF Development team and develop a year-round fundraising strategy.

Prior to UPAF, Sandy was the Director of Audience Development for The Milwaukee Business Journal for 14 years.  There she led efforts resulting in circulation growth of the weekly print publication and the email newsletters.   In her marketing role, she worked with dozens of professional and nonprofit organizations in coordinating all marketing and sponsorship agreements.  In 2009 she was presented an American Eagle Award for Excellence, her company’s highest honor.

Sandy is a member of multiple boards including Milwaukee Women inc. (current Board Chair), the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE), the Waukesha County Business Alliance Policy Board (and a past Board Chair) and the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County. She is also a member of the Marketing Advisory Board for the Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) and a past Board Member for Literacy Services of WI, The Women’s Center, the I Back Jack Foundation, TEMPO and Professional Dimensions.

Away from the office Sandy is a marathon runner and an avid golfer and serves as President of the Kappa Delta Sorority Milwaukee Alumnae Chapter.  In June 2015, Sandy received the Order of the Pearl Award (1of 9) at the Kappa Delta National Convention for Community Service.  In September of 2015, Sandy was awarded the Don Richards Leadership Award from the Waukesha County Business Alliance.
