Parking: There is free parking in a reserved area at the Tennis Courts, which is approximately 3 blocks from the conference. The ELNEC conference will be held in the Maryland Hall at Montgomery Station. There is free Shuttle Service from the parking lot to the Maryland Hall. Please allow additional time for arrival.

Registration Fee: $80 (includes continental breakfast and lunch, continuing education credits, and materials). *Special rate for Riderwood employees. Continuing Education(CE) for Nurses: This continuing nursing education activity has been approved for 12 CNE by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

 

Continuing Education(CE) for Social Workers: This continuing education activity has been approved for 12 CE by Montgomery Hospice, a board authorized sponsor under the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners. 1.5 CEs are approved for ethics.

 

Continuing Education(CE) for Nursing Home Administrators/Assisted Living Managers: This CE activity is being reviewed by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Board.

 

 

**A certificate will be given to each participant upon completion of this training program and the program evaluation form. All participants must sign in at the beginning of the program and attend the entire program**

 

 

The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Project is a national end-of-life educational program administered by City of Hope National Medical Center (COH) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) designed to enhance palliative care in nursing. The ELNEC Project was originally funded by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with additional support from funding organizations (the National Cancer Institute, Aetna Foundation, Archstone Foundation, California HealthCare Foundation and the Department of Veterans Affairs).
