ACSS Annual Conference

"Ready... Set... Global!" 

Be an exhibitor at the Arizona Council for the Social Studies' Annual Conference, the premier conference for Arizona Social Studies Educators!

This year's conference will be held at Camelback High School where you will  have the opportunity to engage, promote and network with social studies educators.  There will be dedicated time in the program for teachers to visit exhibitor tables.  Information about exhibitor location will be provided at a later date.

SET UP: Exhibitors can set-up the morning of Oct. 21 beginning at 6:30 am.

DOOR PRIZES: We ask exhibitors to donate at least one door prize.   We will be incentivizing participants to visit exhibitor tables (e.g. tickets or checklist ) for opportunities to win more door prizes.  

SESSION PROPOSALS: You are invited to submitt a proposal to present at the ACSS Conference. Our conference features sessions for all the K-12 strands of social studies (world history, civics, geography, economics, and U.S./Arizona history) as well as a dedicated strand for Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards!  Conference proposals must be submitted by Sept 3rd  The program committee will review proposals and notifiy applicants no later than Sept. 17th.  To submit a proposal click here.

ACSS is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting quality instruction for students and support for Social Studies educators. We are part of the network of more than 110 affiliated state, local, and regional councils and associated groups with the National Council for the Social Studies. Our membership represents K-12 classroom teachers, college and university faculty members, curriculum designers and specialists, social studies supervisors, and leaders in the various disciplines that constitute the social studies.
