TSPE DFW Mid-Cities - March 23rd Meeting - City of Euless 

Please join us for our March meeting on Thursday the 23rd as we continue the Tour of the DFW Mid-Cities with a presentation on the Euless Reclaimed Water Project by Chris Barker, the Assistant City Manager for the City of Euless.  Ellen McDonald, Ph.D., P.E. and George Farah, P.E. will also be involved in the presentation and help field any questions afterward. 

Mr. Barker has held several positions at the City of Euless over the last 16 years.  He has served as the Public Works Manager, Planning and Development Manager, and Director of Planning and Development to name a few; he has held his current position as the Assistant City Manager since 2011.  Mr. Barker graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a B.S. degree in Agronomy. He is a member of the Texas City Manger's Association, Texas Public Works Association, and the American Planning Institute.

Ms. McDonald, Ph.D., P.E. leads Alan Plummer Associates's water resources group and has more than 25 years experience in water resources planning, water reuse, water quality modeling, and water and wastewater system modeling and planning.  She is a nationally recognized expert in water reuse and has assisted several cities and water districts in the planning, development, and implementation of water reuse projects.

Mr. Farah, P.E. has 16 years of experience designing water and wastewater pipelines.  He is experienced in large diameter pipeline design, construction cost estimating, design plan production, and construction document preparation; his recent projects include the Phase 2 expansion of the City of Euless reclaimed water system.

Registration price includes lunch.  Restaurant will provide a fajita buffet with all the fixin's:

Chicken and/or Steak Fajitas flour tortillas, grilled peppers and onions, Spanish rice, homemade salsa, cheddar cheese, sour cream, guacamole, ranchero beans, shredded lettuce, fresh pico-degallo, sliced jalapenos, and queso.  

Drinks choices include water, iced tea, and coffee (decaf available) with a choice of dessert.
This lunch presentation is preceded by a Tour of the Reclaimed Water Pump Station and followed by an afternoon of golf at the Texas Star Golf Course.  Please refer to the email you received for more information and how to register for these events as well!
