GIA @SU is designed and led by Dr. Chrys Egan, SU Associate Professor and internationally known expert on leadership, communication and civic engagement.
The girls explore the many sustainabilty initiatives of SU and their relationship to problem solving.
Each week, the group travels to off-campus sites to learn about technology in action - including NASA and high-tech businesses.
The girls work on a sustainability project over the summer, utilizing their newly developed leadership and computer skills. The culmination is a lunch-time presentation on capus and a poster session at 3rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury on August 18.
