Ridgeline Mittens Class--April 11, 18, 25 6-7:30pm 

These spunky mittens are the perfect place to start if you have never knit a pair of mittens! The straightforward construction and intuitive design is a great introduction into mitten structure. In three courses we will work through the gusset, palm, fingertips and thumb together. 

If you have been itching to learn stranded color work this class is great for you too! The color work is placed over the hand where there is no shaping to manage as you work your colors. 

This class is a 2 for 1, you'll be introduced to both mittens and color work in one nice package. As an added bonus, this pattern comes with instructions to make a matching hat and is sized from baby through adult. 

Materials: 3 skeins of Arbor in three different colors (please purchase a second skein of your main color of choice if you wish to knit the matching hat as well), US3 and US5 needles in preferred method for knitting small circumferences (DPNs or magic loop), stitch markers

Fee: $50 (includes the pattern and 10% off all class materials purchased at CGY)

Homework: Please knit through the cuff in your selected size prior to coming to class.
