Many Point Sign Up - 2017
Overview: Many Point is one of the premier Boy Scout Camps in the Nation, with extensive facilities and a well trained staff. Scouts have a wide variety of programming to choose from. It is highly recommended that Scouts, especially new scouts, attend this summer camp experience. Summer camp provides an excellent way to make quick progress in Rank and/or Merit Badges.
New This Year: We have two adjacent campsites reserved - Tecumseh and Massasoit to handle our large Troop! We'll have more space to spread out our tents.
Dates: Sunday, July 30th to Saturday, August 5th 2016
Cost: $300 per Scout (an incredible deal for a high quality summer camp!) , Adults are free. Parents are welcome and encouraged to camp with the troop any number of nights.
If you have a wreath credit in your TroopTrack account, the Troop treasurer will automatically refund that amount through PayPal after you have signed up and paid the full Many Point fee. If you do NOT want the credit applied to your Many Point fee, please email the treasurer at treasurer@edinatroop62.org at the time that you sign up.
Transportation: We are chartering a school bus to transport scouts to and from Many Point to simplify travel logistics. We will still need adults to attend during the week and to tow the Troop trailer and bike trailers.
RSVP: Sign up deadline and payments are due on April 10 at 11:00pm. Many Point is now charging a $10 per scout late payment fee. Sign ups and payments made after the deadline will have the late fees assessed to the scout.
Prep Meeting: An informational meeting will be held in July at CPC to provide extensive information, and make group decisions about the camp program, equipment, schedules, etc. Also, please feel free to call Craig Lebakken at (952-994-1035) or e-mail (craig@lebakken.com) with any questions.
Swim Test: We will schedule a mandatory swim test for all scouts and adults in July. Scouts and adults that can't make it to the swim test can take the test at Many Point.
Health Forms: Yearly physicals are now required for all participants (youth and adults staying over 72 hours). Please schedule a physical early! Scouts need to turn in the Annual Health and Medical Record form at the prep meeting in July. Adults staying less than 72 hours don't require a physical, but need to complete the Health History form.

Older Scouts: For Scouts going into 9th grade and above, Many Point offers many Tier 3 High Adventure options including kayking on the Ottertail River, ATV rides, jet skis, and more. New this year is Cot Surfing at Flintlock Adventure Base. Many programs have limited availability and High Adventure registration with Many Point begins April 1.
