ABOUT Tim Girvin: Tim started out as a signwriter, display and merchandising guy, moved to shopfronts, building and vehicles, then plied his thinking in Seattle at Norstrom, took his brushes, pens and bags to NYC and applied the same thinking, larger scale, to Bloomingdale's, Jordan Marsh and Macy's Herald Square. Additional work included Neiman Marcus Dallas, Bullocks Wilshire LA, Henri Bendel NYC, Carson Pirie Scott Chicago, Jordan March Boston, Target and Dayton Hudson Minneapolis. Girvin then moved to branding restaurants and technology in Seattle and San Francisco. 40 years later, Girvin still works internationally on retail, print, built environments, packaging, website and collaborations with architects and entrepreneurs.
