A Focus on Forging

When shape profile and mechanical properties are critical, forging takes metal to the next level.  Liz Bilitz, Technical Product Manager, from Finkl Steel, will guide attendees through Forging 101:  melting, forging, heat treating, and machining.  You will gain a better understanding of the production process and an appreciation of the unique applications for forgings.

Liz brings almost 10 years of industry experience and holds both a Bachelors and Masters in Materials Science and Engineering from Illinois Institiute of Technology.
