Networking to Advance Your Career:
A Brainstorming Session

WNG Career Development
Roundtable

Thursday, April 6, 2017
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Please join the Washington Network Group when we convene our next WNG Career Development Roundtable with Luke Dier, Founder & CEO of Von Dier Career Cartography, and Bill Stokes, WNG Chairman and executive search consultant.

Luke and Bill will discuss networking best practices, and moderate a brainstorming session with participants on successful networking strategies and tactics. Attendees will have an opportunity to pose questions and share insights. Participants will leave this session with practical advice for achieving better results from their overall networking efforts.

Our Co-Moderators:

Luke Dier
Founder & CEO, Von Dier Career Cartography

Luke Dier is a successful staffing professional and business development tactician with front line experience growing giants like Verisign, Robert Half and Bloomberg. His entrepreneurial spirit has been nipping at his heals since he started a bicycle repair shop out of the family garage, using his dad’s tools without asking. Fed up with how jobs seekers at all levels were forced to settle for being treated like a commodity or just plain invisible. He created Von Dier to offer professionals the option of having someone from the professional development community care about your career growth as much as you do. With over 15 years of experience in personal development, market segmentation and sales, Luke has worked with both domestic and international clients to develop business strategies aimed at increasing growth and profitability for new and developed markets.

Bill Stokes
Chairman, Washington Network Group

Bill Stokes is Chairman of the Washington Network Group (WNG), a Washington DC-based organization of senior-level executives from the private, public and independent sectors. Additionally, Bill is an executive search consultant and coach. He has served on numerous boards, including the Science and Technology Policy Center for Development, the George C. Marshall International Center and the World Affairs Council of Washington, DC. Bill pursued graduate studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University and undergraduate studies at the College of William & Mary in Virginia.
