March 20, 2017 - iNaturalist Training 

Jenn Drummond, Gulf Coast Master Naturalist will teach use of iNaturalist just in time for the Houston City Nature Challenge (HoustonPrairie.org/2017HouCNC). She is "an enthusiastic convert to iNaturalist...TPWD has embraced iNat as a primary citizen-science platform, and it's a really brilliant system.

I'm envisioning a two-hour time slot, with maybe an hour of lecture and demo and an hour of hands-on work.

I would like people to bring both their mobile device (of course), and, if available, a laptop or tablet on which to access the full iNaturalist.org web site. The full site is substantially richer than the mobile app, and it's easier to get a feel for the whole project that way. I'll try to scrounge up a loaner or two as well for folks who don't have one to bring."
