This year the number of vendors have increased from last year.  Join TPREIA and InterNACHI for a great evening, register for the many door prizes and give-a-ways; show our vendors that you appreciate their participation at our Texas Inspector's Conference & Expo. 

You ask for more classes and we are offering you three fantastic training tracks each day, with something for every inspector! You select the class that you want to attend by the day. You can select one track on one day and another track the next day.  You will need to remain in your selected daily tracks to receive your TREC CE credits.

Besides our "WOW" class schedule, we include breakfast & lunch each day.

Class sizes are limited. Once a class has met the maximum number that the classroom will sit, class registration for that particular class will automatically stop.  We encourage everyone to register early to get in the class that they would like to attend.  All classes are TREC Approved for Continuos Education Hours.

FRIDAY, Class Option #1: Stucco Inspections

InterNACHI® Stucco Specialist Ron Huffman is a Professional Engineer and the founder of Huffman Inspections, a multi-inspector firm that serves Colorado’s Front Range.  Ron has served on the Exterior Design Institute Board and has years of experience with traditional stucco, EIFS, and other masonry products. This class is a great opportunity to take a deep dive into the specific characteristics and inspection concerns of stucco with an expert in the field.


FRIDAY, Class Option #2: Plumbing Inspections, According to the TREC Standards of
                                             Practice and Plumbing Code Updates

Master Licensed Plumber Rhamy Morrison will teach a class for TREC-Licensed Professional Inspectors on residential plumbing systems, per the TREC Standards of Practice. The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners will also have their traveling display trailer available for attendees, which will feature examples of backflow issues. Rhamy has previously taught well-attended HVAC and other classes at TPREIA conventions.

FRIDAY, Class Option #3: Inspection Report Writing and Software Demonstration

This class is designed to give you an unbiased comparison of the top software choices in the inspection industry. The companies joining us will demonstrate the TREC-Promulgated Report Form using their specific programs. Attendees will be shown various writing techniques, how to upload photos and illustrations into reports, and how to use auto comments in each section. Whether you’re shopping for a new report-writing setup, or are simply interested in what’s new on the market, this class is a hands-on way to help you compare the latest software and their different features.

SATURDAY, Class Option #1: Electrical Inspections, According to the TREC Standards of
                                                   Practice and Electrical Code Updates

Master Licensed Electrician Rhamy Morrison will teach a class for TREC-Licensed Professional Inspectors on residential electrical systems, per the TREC Standards of Practice.  Rhamy has previously taught other classes at TPREIA conventions on many different systems of the home, and is well versed in the most recent electrical code updates.


SATURDAY, Class Option #2: Balcony, Decks, and IRC Code Updates

Professional Engineer Billie Viars from Simpson Strong-Tie will share his vast knowledge on balconies, decks, and the latest IRC code updates. This class will also feature a deck built onsite to demonstrate correct and incorrect construction methods, including the causes of deck failure and the best practices that prevent them.  

SATURDAY, Class Option #3: Business Solutions for the Inspector 

This class will feature multiple guest instructors sharing their wisdom on business solutions for home inspectors.  Michelle Shishilla of Inspection Support Network (ISN) will discuss how to effectively manage the day-to-day of your inspection business. InterNACHI® Founder Nick Gromicko will share his unique marketing tips that you can implement right now to grow your business. Paul Zak will explain how America's Call Center can help you set more inspection appointments. HUD 203k Consultant Catherine Hall will describe the ways that becoming a 203k Consultant can enhance your arsenal of inspection services. TPREIA's own Don Davison will show you how to price your inspections to turn a profit.
