In this third digital marketing SCORE workshop, Introduction to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will introduce you to the local search strategies that every small business owner must know to help your rankings on Google (and other search engines) when potential customers look online for your products or services. 

As a local business, you must think about the local ranking of your website. Local optimization is getting more and more difficult, but if done correctly SEO can help you rank higher in search queries in your local area. Since Google often shows local results first, you need to make sure Google understands where you are located. In this workshop, we’ll go over the things you can do to improve Google’s understanding of your location, products and services, which can help improve your chances to rank locally.
