This one day course provides participants a practical knowledge of the new requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems standard released in September of 2015. The new high level structure, as defined in Annex SL, also applies to other ISO standards such as ISO14001 and will also be integrated into pending updates of related standards such as AS9100, and TS16949. Each attendee will receive a certificate of completion of the update training that can be used for internal auditors and others to meet update training requirements.

• Comprehend the new approach to development of management system standards.

• Understand the high level structure of the new ISO management system standards as defined by Annex SL

• Identify changes and their potential impact on your quality management system

• Discuss the risk based thinking approach required by the new standards

Facilitator:

Maine MEP senior project manager, Bob Doiron, will be the instructor.  Bob has over 28 years of manufacturing experience in the areas of quality management systems, project management, quality engineering, and operations management.  Since 2005, Bob has been helping Maine companies establish and improve their ISO 9001/ISO 13485/AS9100 Quality Management Systems.  He passed the ASQ-CQA exam in 2007, has spent over 240 days at company sites delivering QMS and internal auditor training workshops, and has logged over 65 days performing internal audits as a lead or team internal auditor.
