Down Syndrome Foundation of SENM Medical Conference
The Down Syndrome Foundation of SENM will be hosting a Medical Conference to bring more information about Down syndrome to the SENM medical community. Please come and enjoy a day of wonderful information. Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided.
Key Note Speakers:
Dr. Dennis McGuire is a Down syndrome behavioral expert and has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of mental health and developmental disabilities.
Dr. Peter Bulova is the Associate Professor of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and has run the Adult Down Syndrome Center there since 2003. He is the vice president of the United States Down Syndrome Medical Interest group. He is also currently co-chairing a national committee to update the medical guidelines for adults with down syndrome. He speak nationally to physicians, parent groups and professional caregivers on the medical care of Adults with Down Syndrome.
