This session will cover malware and other forms of cyber threats that are becoming more prevalent. With more people and businesses getting connected to the internet every day, the points of entry for malicious actors has increased tremendously, and creating educational programs and awareness is critical to the success of any security program. Users are the most common targets because of lack of awareness. This session will go over some of the simplest ways to stay safe and provide best practices for those supporting users.

Speaker Biographies
Cyber Security Analyst, National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance
Adam Mosesso, a graduate of Robert Morris University, started at the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) as an intern. The National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance (NCFTA) is a non-profit corporation founded in 2002, focused on identifying, mitigating, and neutralizing cyber crime threats globally. The NCFTA operates by conducting real time information sharing and analysis with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the public, private, and academic sectors. Through these partnerships, the NCFTA proactively identifies cyber threats in order to help partners take preventive measures to mitigate those threats. After achieving success during his internship he was brought on as a full time employee after graduating. While at the NCFTA he has demonstrated a yearning to branch out into various security fields, master unfamiliar domains, and leave no stone un-turned in his unabashed desire to succeed and identify solutions to security threats. Adam’s skill set includes networking, programming, and malware analysis.
