2017 NACCTFO Annual Conference
Join us from July 18 - 20 to...
Columbus

NACCTFO member registration - $150 and includes admission to all conference events and workshops.
Guest registration - $200 and includes admission to all conference events (Tue. Welcome Reception, Wed. Business Luncheon & Evening Event, and Thu. Reception & Banquet).
Early registration deadline is Wed., June 28th. After that date, registration fees will increase by $25. Registration deadline is Sunday, July 9th.

If your guest plans to attend all conference events, please register them while completing your registration. Single event tickets are available for Wednesday ($85) and Thursday ($100) evenings. If you would like to request a single event ticket, email Info@NACCTFO.org (seats are limited).

All NACCTFO education sessions are located at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. The group rate for July 17 - 21 is $179/night for single/double occupancy. Reservation deadline is Sun., July 9th to guarantee the group rate, based on availability.

NACo's Annual Conference will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and registration is now available. If you are planning to attend, don't forget to register separately at www.NACo.org. You will need to make a separate hotel reservation through NACo for that portion of the conference, but you will not have to change rooms. The Hyatt is connected to the Convention Center.

Wednesday, July 19th

8:30 am - 11:15 am: Peer-to-Peer Session: Members will problem solve with their peers via roundtable discussion and information sharing. Bring your biggest challenges from your office to get feedback from your fellow NACCTFO members!
11:15 am - 1:00 pm: Lunch On Your Own
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Cybersecurity: Technology increases efficiency and convenience for customers and other stakeholders. Yet, it also creates challenges for those charged with collecting and safeguarding the processes and data. In this session, participants will hear the perspective of an information technology director who will explain the many dangers associated with using technology and offer practical advice on how to be safe and secure in this complex age. Participants will also have the opportunity to share information on the challenges and opportunities they face in their offices.
4:45 pm: Bus departs for the Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, one bus will make multiple trips

8:30 am - 11:15 am: Workplace Safety in an Age of Insecurity: You can prepare for anything, but you cannot prepare for everything. Learn how to focus your resources on preparing for the most likely emergencies while still preparing for a low-probability high-risk event. Discover how to recognize pre-incident indicators to avoid violence before it happens. See how to use scenario-based training to help your employees overcome the normalcy bias that causes people to underestimate both the possibility and the effects of an emergency. Understand how to develop the mindset and skills you need to survive an attack or another emergency.
11:30 am - 1:30 pm: NACCTFO Business Meeting Luncheon
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Election 2016 Wrap-up: After the First 180 Days: We will discuss the polarization of American politics, the context and impact of the 2016 election, the 115th Congress, the Trump political and management style, the Trump administration's key personnel decisions, and developments in the federal budget, taxes and tax reform, health care, immigration, foreign trade, infrastructure, and other policy areas.
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: President's Reception, Sponsored by the Kansas County Treasurer's Association
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm: Banquet & Installation of Officers

Cancellation Policy
Refund of conference registration fee, less an administrative fee of $25, will be made if a written notice of cancellation is received no later than June 28, 2017. Cancellation requests should be sent to Info@NACCTFO.org.  No refund requests will be honored for registrations cancelled after June 28, 2017 or for “no-shows.”
You are responsible for cancelling your hotel reservation.
