Target Audience: Any elementary school staff working with students on Alternate Assessment

Description:  Participants will learn how to teach non-fiction books to elementary students using the book, Recess at 20 Below by Cindy Lou Aillaud.  Participants will learn strategies for adapting books, content webbing, and developing content based activities for students on Alternate Assessment.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
