Join us for the Wellesley STEM Expo as we transform Wellesley High School into an interactive science center!
BE INSPIRED on Saturday, April 8th! The Wellesley STEM EXPO is a hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) exposition including:
Schedule of Events:
10 am to 2 pm -- Come experience our interactive STEM Exhibitors and Workshops!
2 pm to 3 pm -- Dr. Edmund Bertschinger, MIT Professor of Physics our keynote Speaker will discuss "Rocking Spacetime: The Discovery of Gravitational Waves from Colliding Black Holes."
3pm to 4pm -- STEM Professional Panel for High Schoolers, perfect for college and career readiness planning.
Just a few logistical details about the event:
Parking & Shuttle - Parking will be tight. Car pooling, walking biking is encouraged. Shuttle bus will be running constantly from Tailby lot at the intersection of Linden and Crest Street to and from the high school from 9:30 until 4 pm.
Plan your day - Workshops registration will open at 10 am at each workshop door. those who are registered will be admitted first. Walk ins will be allowed after the start time of the workshop only if there are seats available. Please follow the suggested age for each workshop for the best experience of all in attendance.
