Carlton Soules
 Well-known and respected by the Tea Party community, Carlton Soules has a solid background of Conservative credentials. After a twenty-year career in sales and marketing and an owner of a successful company, he was twice elected to San Antonio City Council where he served a conservative district with a population of 140,000. In 2014 he was the Republican candidate for the position of County Judge, in a county (Bexar) with a population of 1.8 million. Today Carlton is president of Strategic Market Services, Inc.
At the request of friends and colleagues who were disturbed by the bond's exhorbitant $850 million pricetag, Carlton took a long, hard look to see how it addresses the critical needs of San Antonio. Is it really a "back to basics" package as our city leaders claim?
