Cup of Wisdom is a journey into the idea and practice of compassion guided by the Perennial Wisdom at the mystic heart of the world’s religions. With The World Wisdom Bible as our text, we will explore teachings drawn from the world’s greatest saints, sages, and mystics on the nature, origin and practice of compassion. During the second half of the program we will focus on creating meaningful practices for living the sacred art of lovingkindness as an active expression of one’s compassion in our daily lives.
It is not enough to feel compassion in your heart. Compassion is “wasted breath” until it is expressed in action toward self and others. The question is not, “Do you feel compassion for self and others?” The question is, “How will you engage this moment as an expression of your compassion?” Will you engage the moment with kindness or cruelty, with love or with fear, with generosity or scarcity, with a joyous heart or an embittered one?
Each Cup of Wisdom participant will receive a free copy of The World Wisdom Bible and a Cup of Wisdom coffee mug.
