CLASS FEE: $40 Single or $70/Pair
$34 Single or $63/Pair - Studio Members
This class is geared towards moms and daughters (age 10 and up), other combinations of women and girls, and adult girls who love dolls! You'll receive guided instruction from The Doll House Lady to create a doll house, one room at a time, using upcycled items and your imagination!
This first in a series is to create the big house that will hold most of the additional rooms as they are completed. The main house starts as a bedroom with decorated walls, a window, curtains, bed, small dresser with working drawers, lamp and a throw rug.
All supplies are provided - except the dolls! These are sized for 10-12" dolls. Each participant will have fun constructing and decorating their dream doll homes!
Materials used: empty office paper box, shoe box, fabric, scrapbook paper, magazine clippings, paints, markers, glue and hot glue. You can bring your own hot glue gun if you have one and a favorite 10-12" doll to play in your new home!
Jacquelyn, The Creatriss, has been creating box doll homes for eyars and has taught the doll home making course as an after school class. Highly creative, she made her own 11.5" dolls as a young girl when her mother couldn't afford to buy every one she wanted! Sewing her own clothes since the age of 10, she has always loved sewing all sorts of things and is a huge fashion doll enthusiast! Her online e-business - Diva Glass Slippers - is a perfect union of her creativity and love of sewing.
