Hemophilia of Iowa and UIHC Hemophilia Treatment Center invite you to join in our efforts to offer a rewarding camp for our youth aged 6-17 as they come together for our annual Summer Camp hosted at Camp Tanager.
Volunteer times would be depending on the day you are available to attend and what our activities are. New for 2017 is our Elective options for campers to pick and choose what they would like to participate in. We need your help to offer this structure. These will primarily be offered to our campers on Monday and Wednesday. We need volunteers for Bells Farm in the fishing area, swim area, lunch/snack area, sunscreen watchers etc. For Lost Island, we will need help with taking groups to enjoy the rides so we can have 2-3 chaperones with each group. One to go 1st, last and stay behind if kids don't wish to ride. It takes a village to host camp and we are happy you are considering joining us! The field trips you are welcome to join our campers at the venue or meet at camp and follow the bus.
Thank you in advance for considering attending. If you have medical questions, please direct them to Michelle Krantz at 319-356-2890 or via email at michelle-krantz@uiowa.edu. Registration questions can be directed to Kari Atkinson at hoi_president@yahoo.com or 319-721-3964
