For those interested in business ownership, this workshop compares starting a business, buying an existing business, and franchise ownership in Texas. Learn about these three ways to get into business including pros and cons of each, how to do proper research, cost of entry, funding options, etc.

Speaker Bio: Joe is a long-time volunteer mentor and speaker with SCORE. He has started, grown, merged, turned around, bought, sold or closed over two dozen businesses. For twelve years he has advised small business owners as a consultant. For the past three years he has successfully helped entrepreneurs start new businesses and veteran business owners operate their enterprises more efficiently. Currently, Joe is an associate of FranNet, providing consulting to entrepreneurs interested in franchising opportunities.
