"Interim Ministry in a Changing Time"
The United Church of Christ has revised the Local Church Profile that churches complete when thhey are in pastoral transition. This Profile makes a substantial shift in the way churches understand and engage the Search & Call Process for a new Settled Pastor. And as a result, it evolves the ministry with and through the church during times of transition.
Focus for the Day:
* Background principles and insights on church vitality and visioning;
* The continuity of ministry from settled to interim to settled based on a clear sense of vision: Identity, Mission and Purpose;
* The impact of the new UCC Local Church profile on transition time.
