BJ Fungaroli has led Environmental Holdings Group, LLC (EHG) as President and CEO since its founding in 2001. EHG is a Southeastern regional abatement and demolition contractor headquartered in Raleigh, NC with supporting offices in Charlotte, Greenville/Spartanburg, Atlanta and Tampa. He has been in the environmental remediation industry his entire career, spending the first ten years as an asbestos consultant/IH technician and then to the contracting side in 1999.

During his leadership the firm has won numerous honors and awards for both financial and operational excellence. Some of these include one of the top 50 Fastest Growing Company in the Raleigh/Durham, consistently ranked as one of Engineering News & Records Top Specialty Contractors in the US, the Associated Building Contractors Carolina’s Region Specialty Contractor of the Year, as well as Multiple Inc Magazine Awards. Most recently EHG was awarded by the ABC as one of the top safety performers in the nation.

Personally, BJ has been selected multiple times as one of the Research Triangles Top 50 Entrepreneur’s. He has served as the EIA’s National President and on the Board of Directors for the Carolina’s EIA. Currently he serves on the ACAC Board of Advisors, EIA Scholarship committee as well as on the Spanish bank BBVA Compass’ local board of advisors. He holds an MBA from Elon University and a BS from North Carolina Wesleyan College.

 

Jeff Lainsbury has worked in the Hazardous Materials Consulting industry for more than 25 years.  During that time,  he has provided training sessions for contractors, maintenance workers, unions, and concerned individuals.  Mr. Lainsbury has completed many pre-construction/renovation/demolition Designated Substance surveys and overseen the completion of these projects for hundreds of properties.  He is known for his expertise and detailed knowledge of hazardous materials, as well as his problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for working with all stakeholders in every project.
