We invite all parents to join us for an interactive workshop: "Are you ready for college"?
Part 1: “Navigating the College Process," featuring Deb Shames, Patty Barlow, and Jen Ferentz, College Admissions Consultants - 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Come and discover key issues to think about when navigating the college admission process including how to visit a college, standardized testing strategies and timing, how to find “the best fit colleges” for your student, how to approach college essays, and where to find merit scholarships. Learn when to get started and the timeline to follow to maximize success. Parents of rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders can benefit from this informative session.
Part 2: “Optimizing College Funding,” featuring Lisa Mallia, Financial Advisor at Modera Wealth Management, LLC - 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Since 2003, this company has been providing independent college counseling assistance to families. With a combined 50+ years of experience between them, the CCDA team has helped hundreds of families navigate the intricacies and challenges of the college process while taking the stress out of this inherently stressful process. As Certified School Counselors who have worked at various high schools in our area, they have worked with students with a variety of abilities and educational goals.
