Watercolor with Lexi: Peacock

Welcome all levels of painters, seriously, beginners are most welcome! You can totally do this! This week our watercolor lesson will cover how to paint this incredibly vibrant peacock. We will also be introducing some fun new supplies that we can incorporate into our project.

Student Supply List:

Watercolor Palette (with paints): tubes, dry cakes or liquid are fine, pencils are not suggested *IF YOU ARE PAINTING WITH DANIEL SMITH, LEXI IS USING THE FOLLOWING COLORS: ULTRAMARINE, PHTHALO BLUE, RICH GREEN GOLD, INDIGO BLUE, SHADOW VIOLET, BURNT SIENNA AND PHTHALO GREEN - these are not required, but some students prefer to have the colors used on hand.
Watercup
Watercolor Brush Size 6
Mini Mister or Water Bottle
Pencil & Eraser
Permanent Black Marker (fine tip) - micron 01 is best
Baby Wipes or Paper Towels
Watercolor Mixing Palette (i.e. dry erase board)
Optional If You Have them: stabilo black pencil, watercolor crayons (any brand of water-soluble crayon will do {i.e. Caran d'Ache, Scribble Sticks, Staedtler etc}) and metallic paints (Lexi is using the new Prima Metallics palette)
