Social Vetworking for Veterinarians
Eastern and Western Medicine Meet a
Southern Oncologist
The goal of this lecture is to educate family veterinarians, other specialists, and nurses on non-traditional oncology therapies, mainly acupuncture and herbal supplements. Acupuncture has had benefits for people undergoing chemotherapy, and we are starting to learn its benefits in dogs and cats. The discussion will also include supplements like IM'Yunity. This is not a promotion of these supplements, as their effectiveness is not completely known. Some clients may not want to pursue chemotherapy, and knowing other potentially beneficial avenues for our patients are worth exploring.
RSVP is required as space is limited. Attendees will receive 1 hour of RACE Approved CE
