Dean Marzullo, EA: Dean is a college adjunct professor of tax at Bunker Hill Community College. He has been an Enrolled Agent since 1996 and has been preparing income tax returns since 1983 when he started at Boston Safe Deposit and Trust. Over the years, as he has lived around the country, he has been a past member of CASEA, AZSEA, and COSEA where he is a past president. He has held several leadership positions in MASEA. Dean is a former Liberty Tax Service franchisee; formerly employed by H and R Block as an office manager and client service leader. He now has his own tax practice, A and M Income Tax Service, located in Natick, MA.

Amit Johar, EA has a tax practice that focuses on tax planning to maximize individual and small business retirement savings. He has a business degree in Finance from Bridgewater State University. He has sold and consulted entrepreneurial start-ups and has experience in the banking industry. He knows the complexities of running a small business focuses his tax practice on small business clients. Amit is a MaSEA Director, and has appeared on TV and radio tax shows.

John Warren, EA: John has four decades of tax preparation experience. He also has experience with Fortune 100 corporate and international tax software design and application development. Most recently he verifies tax software compliance and has become a subject matter expert for a do-it-yourself retail software product. He founded a fresh idea venture of an experienced tax professional consortium to serve the Medford area. He prepares individual, small business and non-profit tax returns. He is an enrolled agent, President of MASEA, and a NPTI fellow.

3:20 – Uber Services, John Warren, EA. Preparing a receiptless Schedule C for an unregulated driver has its challenges. Learn how to direct your clients toward proper tax reporting. Special attention is paid to what deductions are allowed and prohibited. Time will be spent interpreting Lyft & Uber online documents.
