Online Registration for the Fitness & Rec Ministry 2017 Children's Summer Camps

See the camp descriptions below then click the link to get started. Online registration must be completed no later than the Friday prior to the appropriate camp. (6-5-17)

CAMPS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED MINIMUM NUMBER OF CAMPERS (if appicable) ONE WEEK PRIOR TO CAMP DATE OR RISK THE CHANCE OF THE CAMP BEING CANCELLED. All camps have a maximum number of vacancies. We will have waiting lists if necessary. We cannot guarantee a camp spot for those who wait to register during camp week.

All camps are for certain age/grade groups. All camps (except Crochet Camp) run Monday-Thursday, either 9 am-12 pm or 1-4 pm. All camps take place at First Baptist Church.

Crochet Camp (girls 10 years and older)                                    June 5-8, 9-10:30 am

No minumum/12 campers maximum: Campers will learn the basics of crochet and will make a project to take home. This is not your grandmothers' crochet! It is just for you and you will be surprised how quickly you can learn to crochet! $25 registration fee includes camp supplies, camp tee-shirt, and snacks. Instructors: FBC Loving Threads members

  Art Camps (completed 6th grade and older)

       Camp 1: June 5-8, 9 am-12 pm (CANCELLED)

       Camp 2: July 10-13, 9 am-12 pm

3 campers minimum/8 campers maximum: Campers will learn how God has made each person unique. Like a finger print, in art, every artists' hands have different sizes in their palms, finger and tendon lengths which makes their brush, paint, and pencil strokes unique to them and to God. $55 registration fee includes a paint kit with canvas, camp tee-shirt, snacks.    Bible Based Fitness Camps

      (completed Kindergarten-6th grades)

        Camp 1: June 5-8, 1-4 pm

        Camp 2: July 31-Aug 3, 1-4

5 campers minimum/20 campers maximum: Campers will participate in age-appropriate exercise classes, snack breaks with nutrition discussion, group devotionals, and enjoy fitness related games and activities such as jump rope contests, obstacle courses, relay races, and others. $55 registration fee includes a jump rope, pedometer, water bottle, camp tee-shirt, snacks.   Sewing Camp (girls 10 years and older)

      July 17-20, 9 am-12 pm

THIS CAMP IS FULL! You can register to be put on the waiting list. If a spot opens up, we will contact you in order of your registration and you can pay then!

No minimum/8 campers maximum: Campers will experience and participate in learning the basic art of sewing, from threading a needle to sewing by hand and by machine. $25 registration fee includes camp supplies, camp tee-shirt, and snacks.Instructors: Members of the FBC Quilters
