WOMEN TALK is an evening gathering where women present and share their inspiring stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you’ll be entertained by amazing WOMEN TALKers! The evening will be fast-paced with each presenter speaking for 15-20 minutes, TED TALK style. We are ordinary women, sharing extraordinary stories! Everyone's uniqueness is celebrated. It is a beautiful harmonious place where you can feel the unconditional love of the Divine Feminine.

Sleeping With a Mosquito
In 2014, Angie Shilliday won the title of Mrs. Canada then in 2016 was selected as the Ambassador for Fashion Calgary, showcasing Calgary’s focus on Arts, Fashion and Culture. Angie is a Local and Global Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity; one of her greatest passions for over 10 years. She enjoys experiencing new cultures and countries and loves to put her handy “jack-of-all trades” craftsmanship to use. Volunteering at Recovery-Acres Men’s Treatment Centre, Angie and her friend Mrs. Calgary 2013 TJ Anderson, seized an opportunity to renovate a 4-plex into a safe space for a Women’s Addiction Treatment Centre. With hopes of creating awareness they created and co-hosted a CTV television series called “Crowns of Construction” and raised $300,000 in donations for the project. Most importantly, Angie loves spending time with her family. Her interests include volunteerism, traveling, scuba diving, skiing, snowboarding, studying languages, renovating projects, music, dance and fashion.

Being Solution Minded
Jennifer has moved around the restaurant/hotel industries, business consulting, independent financial planning, banking, discount brokerage, oil and gas industry, condominium administration, social media and coaching industries. These worlds have given her experience with and insight into customer service, relationship management, systems implementation, tool utilization, business development, social media management and marketing, sales and database management. She has completed the Professional Financial Planning (PFP), Financial Management Advisor (FMA), Wealth Management Techniques (WMT), Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance and being honored with the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation. Born a Calgarian and in Love with the city she enjoys supporting local charities and is very active in the community. This feeds her need for connection and play. Her desire for Play and Simplification, Business and Quality Relationships is how SystemsGirl was born. She loves to read and loves supporting Authors, Speakers and Event organizers that are making an impact and positively changing the world. For Jennifer downtime looks like travel, enjoying great food and beverages, music especially live, painting (Oil & Acrylic), photography, and crafts with the children in her life She has been described as a connector, supporter (cheerleader), organizer, simplifier, influential, a problem solver, resourceful, a room warmer and exceedingly charitable.
