WOMEN TALK is an evening gathering where women present and share their inspiring stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you’ll be entertained by amazing WOMEN TALKers! The evening will be fast-paced with each presenter speaking for 15-20 minutes, TED TALK style.  We are ordinary women, sharing extraordinary stories! Everyone's uniqueness is celebrated. It is a beautiful harmonious place where you can feel the unconditional love of the Divine Feminine.

Women Talk is a growing phenomenon that is expanding across Canada

Our Women Talk Monthly Events consist of:

  •  2 TALKers; each sharing a 15-20 minute TALK.
  • TALK of the month with our founder
  • Inspiritional TALK from a Board MemberInspiritional
  • TALK from our sponsor
  • Followed by “girl time”
  • Food and drinks can be purchased from the menu
  • Your evening is woven together with a splash of humour, and inspiration thanks to our MC and Director, Michele Noordhof

Tickets are $17 (when reserved in advance), or $25 at the door. Bring a friend or two for a memorable girl’s night out!  Together we are building a community of strong women who support each other - and we're thrilled for you to be part of it!

Angie Shilliday

Sleeping With a Mosquito

In 2014, Angie Shilliday won the title of Mrs. Canada then in 2016 was selected as the Ambassador for Fashion Calgary, showcasing Calgary’s focus on Arts, Fashion and Culture. Angie is a Local and Global Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity; one of her greatest passions for over 10 years. She enjoys experiencing new cultures and countries and loves to put her handy “jack-of-all trades” craftsmanship to use. Volunteering at Recovery-Acres Men’s Treatment Centre, Angie and her friend Mrs. Calgary 2013 TJ Anderson, seized an opportunity to renovate a 4-plex into a safe space for a Women’s Addiction Treatment Centre. With hopes of creating awareness they created and co-hosted a CTV television series called “Crowns of Construction” and raised $300,000 in donations for the project. Most importantly, Angie loves spending time with her family. Her interests include volunteerism, traveling, scuba diving, skiing, snowboarding, studying languages, renovating projects, music, dance and fashion.
