Land, Sea & Sky with Timothy McGuire

July 17th - 20th | 9:30am - 12:30pm

Land, Sea & Sky is a 4 day workshop painting outdoors, an extraordinary opportunity to observe nature at present "in the open air".  In morning light from 9:30am - 12:30pm, the class will spend two days painting landscape including a focus on atmospheric painting with sky, and the last two days focused on seascape. 

The first session begins with a thorough demonstration, including composition, blocking in, color values, and perspective. Tim works with each student individually throughout the morning, addressing each one's specific desires. Each subsequent day begins with a brief demo based on the needs of the group and a topic specific for that day; subject matter, changes in the weather, light effect, color, etc.  All skill levels are welcome!
