Surviving an Active Shooter Incident

Unfortunately, active shooter events in the United States are on the rise.  More than 50% of these incidents occur in the workplace and end before police arrive. 

Furthering our mission to provide business owners, managers, and employees in Wyandotte County with relevant, unique, and meaningful educational support, we're proud to partner with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department in offering attendees a course about how to survive an active shooter incident in the workplace.

After attending, participants will be better equipped to identify potential active shooters, understand the need for an emergency action plan, and most importantly, know how to survive the unthinkable.
