How to Survive without an OPORD In the Civilian Hiring & Employment World

The military provides great basic training, excellent continuing education, and superior professional leadership courses, but the military cannot teach civilian employment training without the applied civilian experience to go along with the academic outlined courses and self-help books on the market.  That is where we come in and companies like ours.  We help bridge current and past military experiences, training, and education with more practical knowledge about the civilian hiring and employment world.

The civilian hiring experiences and employment expectations will often come into direct opposition with military hiring and employment practices.  What do you do when that happens?  Those are the kinds of questions we will answer and discuss in this class and others like it.

The Top 10 Mistakes/IEDs to Avoid In Your Civilian Career

According to Wikipedia, an IED is an Improvised Explosive Device also known as a bomb. IEDs are known to be dangerous and destructive to one's life if not handled properly.  In the civilian world, there are situations that can also be explosive and destructive to one's civilian career if not dealt with or addressed properly.  They are often undected and hidden from sight like many military IEDs.   As a result changing careers or jobs can be extremely frightening because of unknown expectations.  However, this class will help you identify them and provide you with instructions on how to defuse them faster.  The more you know, the more you can grow in your civilian career.

We invite you to attend and bring a friend. Each of our VCAP classes are filled with powerful information to help you better understand the competitive job market on the civilian side of the hiring processes and practices.
