The Cathedral Center's Pathway Home 2017

The Cathedral Center presents…

The Pathway Home,

A Fall Celebration of Ending Homelessness

(Once upon a time it was the Cathedral Center Annual Fall Gala)

November 9, 2017 5 – 8 pm

Atrium of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist

2017 Co-Chairs: Alicia Kopp, Liz Sellars and Jan Uebelherr

The Pathway Home raises funds to support the Cathedral Center’s mission to end homelessness. We hope you will consider a sponsorship and join us at this heartfelt community celebration. An inspiring 30-minute program is emceed by CCI board member Portia Young with testimonials and a video.

The evening includes:

  • Hearty passed appetizers and desserts
  • A selection of wines and soft drinks
  • Raffle baskets, a wine pull, and a fabulous on-line silent auction
  • Music by local entertainers
  • An opportunity to visit with Milwaukee area business leaders, philanthropists, friends and family.

The 2017 Pathway Home event is the culmination of our 15th Anniversary Celebration!  With a goal of $100,000 (and expenses budgeted at under $10,000) your support will change lives and create a legacy that may truly last a lifetime.

Woman of the Word:  The Cathedral Center is proud to honor a Woman of the Word each year in conjunction with The Pathway Home. These women share qualities that make them worthy of being named Women of the Word:  their actions match their words; they have a significant impact on our community; they inspire, motivate and unite people in a collective mission. Through their quiet good works, they foster change.

Client Transformation Award:  Each year the Cathedral Center recognizes the extraordinary efforts of a client who achieved independence. The Client Transformation Award goes to a past  Cathedral Center client who embodies transformation through notable progress in the areas of home, work and/or spirit. Often she has worked through a dramatic and challenging personal situation. The recipient of this award also possesses the ability to lead by example, helping others to overcome their challenges, shining a light on the pathway to independence.
