You are invited to bring your bike and join us for a tour of Montgomery's historic downtown.
On May 20, 1961, young Freedom Riders came to Montgomery and changed our nation. Come experience the places where history happened!
The tour starts and ends at the Freedom Rides Museum, 210 South Court Street. Water, healthy snacks, and museum admission are included as are discounts on event t-shirts.
This family-friendly event is sponsored by the Alabama Historical Commission, Freedom Rides Museum, Friends of the Freedom Rides Museum, and Montgomery Bike Club.
The Freedom Rides Museum in Montgomery's historic Greyhound Bus Station is a historic property of the Alabama Historical Commission.
The Friends of the Freedom Rides Museum is a nonprofit organization that supports the Freedom Rides Museum and connects it to the places that tell this essential American story.
The Montgomery Bike Club supports recreational and competitive cycling in the Central Alabama area.
Registration in advace is recommended. However, you can pay on-site with a credit card or check.
In case of rain, registrants can opt for a Saturday rain date (TBD) or a refund.
