70th PACD/SCC Joint Annual Conference 

Registration for the Joint Annual Conference has begun! PACD continues to offer 100% online registration, which is both efficient and environmentally friendly. In addition, our new all-inclusive registration packages have streamlined the registration process and allows participants to register and pay for multiple people at once, rather than having to complete a separate registration for each person.

Soil Health Tour
Thursday, July 13, from 1 PM to 4 PM

Join us on the second day of the conference for a special soil health tour of Hershey Farms in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Farmed by Jim Hershey, President of the No-Till Alliance of Pennsylvania, the farm uses cover cropping, interseeding, and no-till methods to encourage and maintain soil health. Look for feature articles in upcoming issues of the PACD Front Page e-newsletter for more details about the tour and other conference activities.

Executive Council Items

These items will come before PACD Executive Council on July 13, 2017, during the conference.

PACD asks each conservation district board to consider these proposals and ensure that the districts’s designated voting delegate comes to the meeting prepared to vote on these items and any amendments made from the council floor.
