  • Presentation Description: Utilizing a network of more than 130 low to mid interaction honey pots deployed around the globe in every major cloud provider and also several private networks we will review the mordern day attacks taking place can illustrate some new risks and highlight how the old threats are hard to die. We will review the recent attacks that are active in the wild and the learnings we can take away from them to best protect our infrastructure. From details of the attack vector to a walk-through of the kill chain, we will see what we can learn about modern attacks and how we can defend against them.

  • Speaker Bio: Brian O-Neill is a long-time web developer and former application security analyst who now spends his time managing products designed to protect organizations from the myriad of threats that exist on the internet. He's spent time securing web applications for NYSE listed companies and helping organizations all around the globe and has developed products across the spectrum of information security including Application Security, Network Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, SIEM, and Offensive Security.
