Habitat for Humanity of York County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope as we partner with families in need of decent and affordable housing to acheive strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

We invite you to volunteer on our construction site and make a difference in your community!  We provide all the tools and equipment needed for the workday and no construction skills are required. 

Specific workday tasks will be assigned based upon construction progress made by previous volunteer and weather-related impacts.  Please review the list of tasks and descriptions to see what your activity could entail. 

On your workday, please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes.  All tools and equipment required will be provided.  We will have plenty of water on site.  Please pack sunscreen and bug spray.

Reminder...this project takes place on an active construction site.  Therefore:

• All volunteers are required to review and agree with the Volunteer Release & Liability Waiver in order to participate. 
• Volunteers who are 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must have the Volunteer Release & Liability Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
• Youth volunteers without a signed liability waiver cannot remain on the construction site.
• Children under the age of 16 are not permitted on the construction site.
