 Project WILD Workshop

This workshop is on JULY 18, Tuesday.

Pre-registration is CLOSED!

You may register at the door if there is still space (4 seats available at close of business on 7/17). The date shows 7/19 so that this page can stay open to accept your workshop fee onsite.

Project WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will  experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators. 

Workshop participants receive:

  • 6 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
  • Project WILD K-12 guide
  • Texas-specific resources
  • Morning snacks & coffee

Anyone who works with children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, and scout leaders is welcome.

Held at Resaca de la Palma State Park, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

Expect a few outdoor activites; come prepared in outdoor appropriate clothing with insect repellant and drinking water.

You may bring your lunch, or a list of local restaurants will be available.

Registration fee is for WILD training.  WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training.  Attendance and participation in the entire workshop are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
