ALOHA GATHERING
A year ago in May, the Office of Youth Services and Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii co-sponsored
a gathering, Ho‘oulu Lahui, at the Hawaii Convention Center. It was a day of Aloha, reawakening, and
blessing for all who were there!
We invite you to join another gathering in the same spirit of Aloha, at the Living Life Source Foundation in Manoa. Roy Sakuma, JoYi Rhyss, and Steve Chinen will present their expertise in working with our youth with Aloha. Participants will learn about the power of Aloha through a panel presentation, break-out sessions, and sharing with each other.
Roy will share how his presentations with youth and parents in schools and community sessions have opened hearts and minds; JoYi will share basic facilitation skills that anyone working with groups of youth would find valuable; Steve will show how the “Rainbows In Me” curriculum, a social emotional learning tool, can be utilized with youth to enhance their social skills building.
Please join us for this Aloha gathering!
